Clearwater Coffee Co.

Forbidden from using "cliche" coffee-related imagery, I was tasked with designing a brand and exterior for a coffee shop in Bozeman, Colarado. Avoiding coffee-related imagery lead me to an exciting electric color pallet and a logo featuring a squirrel, nature's most notoriously wired creature, and an indigenous animal to CO. I created a pattern from the "c" glyph in the font Blenny, for a fun playful feel. The typeface gave 70s vibes especially the small spirals in the characters (and reflected in the squirrel's tail), so I opted for a more modern color pallet to contrast the font and modernize the feel.
